Hi my name is Jared, I am attending BYU as a freshmen right now and i have come to the realization that I have not written down my thoughts about life as a college student and living out here at BYU. so to start I live in a place called Heritage and I have been going to school here since around late August. i have made amazing friends. I have done amazing things like go to peoples houses and have parties there, I have gone to movies at ridiculously late hours of the night. I have stayed at friends relatives homes, I have even gone to date auctions fro a ward activity and I have also bee on a intramural Ultimate Frisbee team. I have friends that i will stay up with and talk to till late into the night, I have been working hard and going to my classes like all other students. I am basically a typical freshman.
I understand that I am also a weird person and that I can be pretty annoying a points as well. I love hanging with my friends and doing things like make Sunday breakfasts, watch movies during the day and I also enjoy the company of friends, whenever they are willing to hang out that is. I am a very normal person. I try to be kind to all those people that I meet and I try to be a very open person. I am not saying I am good at it but who cares right. Anyway College can be stressful to extremes and it can also be tons of fun, you just need to find the perfect balance of work and social life. I am pretty sure I have found that equilibrium for me, but I may be leaning more towards one end also. I just need the opinion of my friends on that one. But to be honest college life is the best, and if you haven't experienced it yet, I am telling you that you should definitely look into it. Anyway that is all.
